Haitian Bead Project
![]()
The Haitian Bead Project empowers Haitians to provide for themselves and build their own communities rather than furthering a culture of dependency. The project currently has 60 artisans working in the cities of Pignon and Savanette and produces a number of products including some of the Lunar Essential Tracker Bracelets.
The products feature handmade beads created from “upcycled” or natural materials like cardboard and coconut shells. Each piece of jewelry is unique. No two necklaces or bracelets or even beads will ever be the same because of the creative process for making the jewelry.
Many of the artisans in the project have taken the money they have earned and used it for further education or even to start their own small businesses.

Pink Luminous Breast/Pink Luminous Advocacy Project
![]()
Silk Pro USA founded Pink Luminous Breast and the Pink Luminous Advocacy Project. The Pink Luminous Advocacy Project aims for the education of women and men on the need to be proactive with their breast health, by disseminating awareness, prevention, and catching it in early stages. The project is also focused on investing in research, specifically as it relates to how red LED spectrum light can be used to detect early symptoms of breast cancer, enabling women to monitor their breast health at home. The project also focuses on distributing preliminary breast cancer screening tools to women living in financially challenged communities, where the resources for mammograms are not easily accessible. LETS partners with Pink by distributing breast lights to those within the reach of our education department and local medical teams.
Renand Foundation
The Renand Foundation develops programs to prevent at risk rural Haitian children from becoming restaveks (child slaves) while at the same time giving their parents purpose and their communities sustainability.
This is not about welfare, it’s about providing people with access to resources so that they can empower and support themselves.
The foundation’s focus is to keep children within their rural communities. If the parents and the community are given access to enabling resources the children are less likely to be at risk. The foundation’s pioneering pilot program is currently saving lives in Bassin Bleu and is being further implemented in other rural Haitian communities.
Domes for Humanity
![]()
Domes for Humanity unites people and communities to build disaster-resistant homes and shelters, leaving a sustainable impact on lives. Domes for Humanity believes that the strongest natural disaster-resistant structure – a Monolithic Dome – is the key to solving the world’s sustainable and healthy home and shelter crisis. With collective action, empowerment in communities will increase as the organization makes an impact with these affordable, permanent solutions; and as a result, monetary and physical rebuilding efforts can decrease globally. Domes are an urgent go-to solution especially in low-income and underdeveloped communities around the world. LETS partners with Domes and Pink to create Women’s wellness clinics in our communities.
